Average baby...but only in some ways

Ashlyn was 2 months old on January 9th. She was right at the average mark for weight and slightly above average on height and head size. It seems weird that she's above average on height since Ramon and me aren't tall...well I would definitely be considered short at 5'1. We're glad she's average in the important things, but she's too cute to be called an average baby.

Ashlyn's height at 2 months: 22 1/4 inches long
Ashlyn's weight at 2 months: 11 lbs even

Changes in the past few weeks: Ashlyn coos and smiles quite a bit. She's a very animated baby. She will play on her play mat for about 20-30 minutes laughing and smiling until she starts getting mad. A few weeks ago she would only last about 5 minutes.

Ashlyn will watch a 30 minute kids show all the way through a lot of the time. Ramon and I crack up about how intently she watches. She acts like she knows exactly what's going on in the show.

She had colic pretty bad for about 2 weeks but as soon as we switched bottles it totally went away. Poor baby was just swallowing too much air. Those bottles are trash compared to the new bottle. And believe it or not, they came with the breast pump. Is it just me, or does it seem like a quality bottle should come with a $300 breast pump?
